General Terms & Conditions

1. Scope of application and modification of the GTCs
All the operations carried out by an Internet user, on the Corail Hélicoptères’ website: www.coraihelico.com, imply the acceptance without reserve of the present General Terms & Conditions of Sale. The Customer or/and beneficiary declares to be an adult and to have the full legal capacity allowing him to commit himself under the present General Conditions of Sale. Otherwise he will have to be replaced by his legal representative and will be asked to confirm his authorisation in writing on his voucher. Before any passenger’s admission on board, Corail Hélicoptères reserves the right to modify at any time the present Terms and Conditions of Sale according to the evolution of the proposed services or the legislation in force, by publishing a new version in the section of the website provided for this purpose. Each order placed after the publication of the new version of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale will be subject to this new version.

2. Flight regime
Corail Hélicoptères is an airline company approved by the French Civil Aviation Authority under the n° FR.AOC.0023 Europe. The flights are carried out in VFR regime (visual flight rules, as defined by the regulations of the General Directorate of Civil Aviation). The flights are carried subject to the authorizations of the concerned authorities. The duration of the flights is approximate and may vary according to weather conditions, air traffic and flight authorisations.

3. Prices and Tickets
The prices are “per person”, include VAT and are subject to revision at any time as they are determined according to the fill ratio of the devices. If on a flight, the number of passengers is insufficient and/or the weather conditions are unfavorable, the company reserves the right to regroup its passengers on other flights or to cancel the flight.
In this case, passengers will be able to :
– Embark at a different time (depending on availability), if this option is chosen, it becomes final. or
– Be reimbursed for the amount of the ticket paid (without any other compensation).
Tickets for children under 2 years of age are free (on the date of the birthday and upon presentation of a receipt). From the age of 2 to 12 (upon presentation of proof of age), a “child” fare is applied.
Tickets are valid for 3 months from the date of issue. Tickets are not exchangeable or refundable, except by decision of the company, following flight cancellation due to unfavorable weather conditions or for any other operational reason.

4. Schedules
Corail Hélicoptères provides indicative flight schedules and reserves the right to modify them by informing the customer beforehand. The indicated schedules are thus not guaranteed.

5. Take-offs
Take-offs take place every day from our bases depending on the type of overflight:
– During summer: as from 06h00
– During winter: as from 06:45 am

6. Reservations
Reservations can be made on our website, on site, by phone, fax, mail or email. Information required to make a booking:
– Name, first name, gender and date of birth of passengers
– Credit card numbers (visa, AMEX, Mastercard): 16 digits, expiration date, cryptogram. (to secure the booking)
– Phone contact details

7. Cancellations
The company : Corail Hélicoptères reserves the right to cancel a flight due to bad weather conditions, or in case of force majeure. Corail Hélicoptères commits itself to confirm, with the customer, the nature and the schedule of the service on the day before 6 pm.
The passenger: Any passenger has the right to cancel or postpone his scheduled flight, the day before the overflight before 4 pm. After this deadline, payment of the full price of the overflight is required. Any passenger who does not show up on the day and the time of the flight, will be charged a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the price of the tour.

8. Right of withdrawal
In the case of tickets purchased on the Internet, it is not possible to exercise any right of withdrawal, as these are travel or transport services. According to article L. 121-20-4 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal is not applicable to accommodation, transport, restaurant and leisure services provided on a specific date or at a specific frequency.

9. Insurance and Civil Liability
Corail Hélicoptères is the holder of the insurance and civil liability coverage for its activities as a passenger air carrier. Risks are assumed for amounts comparable to those required by the Warsaw Convention in terms of air passenger transportation. Objects carried by passengers are not covered by our insurers. It is the passenger’s responsibility to take out additional insurance if he/she deems it necessary. Corail Hélicoptères cannot be held responsible for any damage resulting from the use of the Internet network such as loss of data, intrusion, virus, service interruption or other involuntary malfunctions.

10. Boarding conditions
No person is allowed to board a helicopter without a valid flight ticket. As a Passenger Air Carrier, Corail Helicoptères is subject to the conditions stipulated by the Warsaw Convention. During the overflight, the participant agrees to comply and respect the safety instructions dictated by Corail Helicoptères and to follow during the flight the instructions of the pilot who is “the only master on board”. Corail Hélicoptères pilots have the right to refuse or disembark any person or cargo that may represent a danger to the safety of the flight.

11. Archiving and proof
Corail Hélicoptères will archive the purchase orders and invoices on a reliable and sustainable support constituting a faithful copy in accordance with the provisions of article 1348 of the Civil Code. The customer is expressly informed that, except in the case of manifest error of which he would bring the proof, the data kept in the databases of Corail Hélicoptères will be considered by the parties as proof of the communications, reservations, payments and transactions between both parties.

12. Applicable law and settlement of disputes
The present general conditions are subject to French law. All disputes, contestations, defects of payment or difficulties of any nature relating to our services rendered, will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Tribunal de Grande Instance.
